The Town of Mooreland's's Annual Independence Day Celebration is held in Mooreland City Park.The day itself is filled with an array of events that provide a fun-packed time for all the family, including a free barbeque and a Softball Tournament.

The atmosphere surrounding the celebration is extremely relaxed, meaning that everyone is able to socialize, enjoy great food, and participate in a variety of fun activities.

No July 4th Celebration would be complete without a fireworks display, which is held at the Baseball field. Mooreland's Special Events Committee does its best to uphold this tradition, and holds an exravagant pyrotechnics show around sundown that is a wonder to behold!
