Nestled in the heart of rural, northwest Oklahoma, Mooreland is perfectly situated to offer bountiful hunting experiences for those who are keen to take up the challenge!

Western Cedar Company Hunting Preserve is one of Mooreland's leading guided hunt specialists, offering guided hunting of upland game birds, pheasant, quail, chukkar, deer, dove, and turkey (in season).

As part of the guided hunts with the Western Cedar Company, all guided upland game bird hunting includes a home cooked meal, dogs if needed, and bird processing. Lodging is available for five and meals are provided. With 640 acres, even large groups will have ample room to enjoy an uncrowded day in the great outdoors. Sixty percent of the land is open grassland, the remainder is intermingled with oaks, red cedars, and plum thickets providing excellent game cover with numerous watering holes and feed plots. Every effort will be made to insure each hunter a full bag and a great day in the field. Kennels are available on the grounds for hunting dogs, or the preserve's dogs are available at no extra charge. Gun rentals and gift certificates are also available. The Western Cedar Company's accommodations also boasts an indoor swimming pool! Reservations are required.

Directions: 3 miles E on Hwy 412, go E on County Rd NS 217, then 2 1/2 miles on the left side of road. Within 25 miles of Alabaster Caverns, Boiling Springs State Park and Waynoka Little Sahara Dunes.
